In 1995 I became a journeyman painter. I painted everything from custom homes to high rises.
Renovation responsibilities followed naturally since painters are often asked to fix things before we paint them. After a decade of renovating, I obtained my BC Home Builder’s License and began to build new homes from the ground up.
Sound building science is key to everything I do. I love solving problems. Whether I’m building a new home or transforming an older one, I focus on doing it right.
My Japanese-Canadian heritage has profoundly influenced my work ethic. I have vivid memories of how hard all of my grandparents worked. My grandfather’s 20-acre vegetable garden was a work of precision and art, with plants lined up perfectly, horizontally and diagonally. His legacy of diligent labour and attention to detail flavours every project I do.
Finally, our company’s greatest testimonial is our longevity in business. We incorporated in 1999 and have served clients from Chilliwack to Vancouver. My wife, Rardi, enjoys designing and business planning. I enjoy managing projects and meeting new clients. I look forward to meeting you!
